About Our Music Program

The music program at Saint Joseph School Inc. incorporates singing, movement, reading and performance at all levels throughout the year, projects are integrated with other areas of our curriculum as well.

Meet Your Teacher

My name is James Marshall, and I am looking forward to my second year at Saint Joseph School in 2009-10. I have been teaching instrumental, vocal, and general music since 1984. I have a BA in Piano Performance and Music Education and an MA in Teacher Education.

Private and Group Lessons

Private or small group vocal and instrumental lessons are an excellent way to develop and enrich every child's musical talents. Lessons are taught during the school day and are scheduled with the classroom teacher at the time that is best for your child. Please read sign up information in the fall.

Music news

Looking forward to the 2009-10 school year: *All students in grades 3-6 will learn to play the recorder. Look for details on the school supply list.
